Dark Rosewood cabinet raised on single tapered legs with brass castors. Adjustable music desk on a sliding platform. Full overstrung iron frame with Aliquot stringing, serial no. 7K Restored Bluthner 88 note patent action, 71/4 octave keyboard with original ivory naturals and ebony accidentals. The action has been completely overhauled with new hammers, felt, pins, strings and damper felts, approximately 20 years ago. This piano is in excellent order, structurally sound and tuned to concert pitch. The dark rosewood cabinet has been french polished, though there are blemishes and faded sections, however they do not detract from what would be described as a very good cabinet which looks impressive and aesthetically pleasing. Please check out the photos. This piano plays well and would be classed as a musicians instrument, it has a medium to light touch which is responsive throughout.
