1965 Hofner COMMITTEE!We are proud to offer our 1965 Hofner Committee solid wood carved archtop. Hands down this is one of the most amazing archtops we have ever offered. The aesthetic component as well as its sound is second to none. It has a great playing neck with worn, but good frets. It's all original with the exception of the lower strap button, and is 100% complete with the exception of the pickguard and the upper strap button. One of the reasons why it plays so well is because the neck has been re-set. There has also been overspray on the neck, and on a small area near the neck joint on the sides of the body. The body displays AMAZING bird's eye maple on the back and sides. There are some minor nicks + dings, finish checking, and other cosmetic wear including some areas of binding shrinkage. Everything remains structurally sound with no cracks or breaks. Comes with a time-relevant hardshell case. Please feel free to shoot us any questions you may have.
