Rane's first rotary mixer. And this one has some history. I used to do sound reinforcement in the SF Bay Area, so it has been blessed by the likes of many famous SF DJ's and other house music kats from around the world.Rane coins it "The Mixer that House Built".Since these two items have had some wear and tear, I am dropping the price to be fair in case you would like to send it into Rane for a few fixes. The issues are as follows:mixer:* Unbalanced output (RCA left and right) not working* Post Effects right channel (RCA) not working* Mic1 Engage toggle stuck in off position* A few of the rotary knobs slip on the pots and a couple of them have scratches on the tops of them (as seen in pics)expansion unit:* A/B/POST toggle switch brokenBoth RS1 Power Supplies were replaced at one point, so the RJ11 connectors are good and snap into place. (can be a major hassle if broken) When they were broken, tape was used to hold them in place, so there is a bit of residue from the tape still on the backs of the units which can be seen in the pics.Otherwise, cosmetically, they still look very good. I believe I paid over $2500 for both units new.* Includes extended data cable to connect the units. I believe the original cable was 3-4 inches maybe, but this one is at least twice the length, shown in it's own pic.(stole this from another ad): "This is the original version of the 2016 with the better sounding, better feeling, and more durable Black Beauty potentiometers. The B.B. pots with accelerated volume curve are no longer made or available. The current versions (MP2016s/XP2016s) will cost you $2200 new and use inferior Blue Velvet pots."Buyer pays shipping.Selling both units together which includes the Rane 2016 mixer, 2016XP expansion unit, both RS1 power supplies and the extended data cable to connect the expansion unit to the mixer.
