Offered for sale is this superb 2001 Gibson Les Paul R7 Goldtop. In near mint condition with original case, COA and all tags. This is part of thr pre VOS Art and Historic Gibson series. Even though it is not VOS it has that vintage finish with dulled hardware. The neck is a comfortable 50s profile but nowhere near as thick as some of the reissue models. The guitar is very clean with no dints, chips or lacquer cracks (that I can see). The hardware is quite dull in appearance probably due to a combination of the deliberate factory finish and age. I am reluctant to say anything is mint condition but this is probably as near as you will get! A bit of research will show these selling for around the £2500 mark.I would prefer cash on collection as I think a guitar of this value should be seen and played before buying. The postage (UK only) would be by UPS Courier and will cost £120 fully insured but i am willing to change only £60. Please contact me if you would like this option.The only reason I'm selling is that I already have a R8 which I prefer and I would like to fund purchase of a Martin acoustic.
