Kamaka Painted Pineapple Ukulele Vintage Original " Holy Grail " Kamaka !!
Estimated price for orientation: 2 950 $

Description Brand: Kamaka Top Material: Hawaiian Koa Ukulele Type: Pineapple Soprano Model: Hand Painted Special Pineapple Body Material: Hawaiian Koa Country/Region of Manufacture: United States
This amazingly rare Kamaka hand painted special pineapple is considered to be the "Holy Grail" of all vintage Kamaka ukuleles. There is a old urban legend that the first 100 pineapple ukuleles that Sam Kamaka manufactured were all hand painted either on the front or as this one on the back. As can be seen in the photos this almost 90 year old Kamaka pineapple is in good condition. If you are a collector that also plays you will love this little Kamaka I have spent many hours playing her and she has a bright rich tone and a great low fast action. As mentioned in the condition description above there are several old amateur repairs, what I mean is that the repairs could have been done much better by a professional and for such a rare and impotent ukulele such as this should have been repaired by someone that knows what they are doing , that being said this is a solid ukulele. Please bid with confidence as I have been selling on ebay for over 18 years and I also maintain a 100% feedback rating.
