Up for sale is a Fender Jazz bass neck. 1971ish; no date can be read but parts from the bass indicate that year specifically; generally 1969-73. It is a project. The truss rod works, the nut is worn - however, it has a back bow. While someone tried to adjust it out they blew out the block and underneath the truss rod is breaking through. Pretty typical for the rod to do this during this period, sadly. Not so typical for the large hump. It basically humps from about fret 2 to about 19. The last frets seemed to have been removed as another attempt to fix the issue; they were replaced and done poorly. Not seated properly. Otherwise frets have no significant wear and most life left. Binding is cracked at the butt but otherwise no issues; headstock has checking and nicks. Back of the neck has some light nicks. Nut is seated; looks all original.
