Appeared in 1960, Humming Bird which is popular with the model J - 45 which represents Gibson since that and has become a twin. Hummingbird of orange label which was reissued in old agency time arrived this time!
Spruce TOP, Mahogany SIDE & BACK, Mahogany NECK, Rosewood Fingerboard & Bridge, Measured 44 mm Nut, 16 inch Square Shoulder with 24.75 inch Scale. The color reproduces the color faded by Heritage Cherry, cherry sunburst, but it is slightly different in color from the current Heritage Cherry, somewhat brilliant, cherry sunburst that is still not faded yet However, when you see it now it is one of fresh beautiful color rings!
The sound sounds like Gibson, Square, Shoulder, moderately rampaged and moderately coherent sound! There is little feeling that the sound is undulating as much as a round shoulder such as J - 45 or Southern Jumbo, and it is the attraction of Hummingbird that stroke sound with a sense of cohesion is obtained. However, if you flutter with a flat pick, you will get a rough cut sound like Gibson, and there are enough sustain even if you pluck with fingers, so you can use it for almighty regardless of play style or genre I think that it sounds good!
Condition of musical instruments has a slight repair history, but scratches are less, it is a reasonable beauty goods. The center · seam part (material joint) under the bridge of the body · top seems to have opened a little a little, there is a mark of adhesion repair of about 4 cm. It is not suitable for those who do not like bad news as it is a bit dirty and slightly darker but I think that if ordinary Gibson fans are not worried about it first (laugh) In addition, the hummingbird of pickguard The picture disappears somewhat due to picking. In addition, very small scratch scratches and scratches can be found, but if you look as a musical instrument that has been used for 20 years, you can say that it is a beautiful enough condition.
Neck condition is also good, almost straight, the current string height is on the 12 frets on the 6th string side 2.2mm, on the 1st string side is about 1.8mm and it is set very easy to play. Saddle still has plenty of room but there is no need to drop the string height any further. There is almost no decrease in frets, even in the area where it is the most reduced, the height of more than 90% of the original remains.
Center crack repair and PG's pattern are a little disappeared so it is a cheap one!
