1959 Danelectro Silvertone U-1 w/Orig. case This particular peanut ( s m a l l ) body example, is in very good original condition, and includes the original soft case. This is an iconic guitar form the ' 50’s . This example is in original condition with no issues at all. This guitar has no breaks, no cracks, no modifications . Original piece of history. A hollowbody construction from Masonite and Poplar. Ivory tape binding. ( 1 ) Lipstick pickup Chrome - plated steel bridge with adjustable Rosewood saddle. Original 3 - on - a - side tuning machines. Original soft case. This guitar plays excellent , sounds wonderful and looks awesome. Playing this guitar is easy. The lipstick pickup is wonderful. Great sounding and very easy to play .One of the unsung hero's of it's day .This guitar has no issues. The action is great, the frets are excellent shape.The action is nice and low.The tuning machines work perfectly. Electronics are excellent and work as they should.Volume control tone control. ( Rare ) Beautiful light / dark grained Brazilian fretboard.
