RICKENBACKER 1993 PLUS 12 STRINGThis is that Rickenbacker 12 string for those who wanted that unique sound but couldn't play that 1.63 inch neck width on the 360 or 330 6 or 12 sting models. This style was custom made for Pete Townsend of The Who with a 1.75 inch width at the nut. It makes all the difference in the world for playability.It has the double white binding just like the 60s model played by George Harrison. These were initially only made for the UK market and few of them come up for sale. They are also much easier to string than the other Rickenbacker 12 strings.This one is flawless having been played just twice.The Lennon signature and self-Portrait are just vinyl and can be removed. I can put on a George Harrison signature if you prefer.Likely you haven't seen this model before. If you google search it you will only see the very odd one less than $5,000 used. This is a real SACRIFICE price.
