2 Sennheiser MKH 816 P48 microphones from the same production batch with serial numbers 23270 and 23291, complete with their individual boxes. This matched pair was used in a theatre for amplifying/recording/monitoring stage sound. They were mounted in fixed positions hanging from the ceiling, therefore they have only minor signs of wear where the microphone clamps were attached. One has a tiny dent half way the interference tube due to a mishap which is of no consequence to how it sounds. Both have recently been tested extensively and perform like new to specifications and are as trustworthy as any MKH-series Sennheiser. These MKH 816’s are long shotgun microphones, most suitable for use in a studio, sound recording and reproduction in a theatre, nature sound recording, sound effects (foley) recording, dialog recording in noisy locations etc. They are twice as sensitive as MKH 416 with much more directivity.
