original 1960's AIRLINE/Harmony made H78 RED BURST with H77 type tailpiece

Olivia's Vintage would like to present this original 1960's Harmony made Airline H78 that has had the original Bigsby removed and an aftermarket tailpiece installed which makes it more like the H77. It has a great playing neck with good frets. It's all original with the exception of the tailpiece, the nut, a couple of small screws, and the jackplate. The jackplate has stabilized the cracks in the side of the body that run out from the jack hole. It is now secure and functions very well without having to install screws. It's also 100% complete with the exception of the missing "Airline" emblem on the headstock. A later chipboard case is included. There are some minor nicks + dings, and other cosmetic wear including some finish chipped off the bottom edge and a bent "G" tuning peg (still functional). This vintage Airline remains structurally sound. All electronics work and sound great.
