1998 Godin Signature Series LGX-SA Guitar, Just Stunning Nut width: 1 11/16" Scale: 25 1/2" Radius: 16" Tuners: High ratio front-loaded locking tuners loaded with Ebony Keys. String Gauge: Godin Nickel electric strings 10-46 Frets: Medium Nickel Pickups: 2 x Seymour Duncan Humbuckers (SH II jazz in the neck and a Custom III in the bridge) Bridge: Hexophonic Bridge transducers (one per string) and a Custom Godin pre-amp (Piezo-acoustic pickups are integrated with the bridge assembly) Body: Solid Mahogany body Cutaway with a Figured ‘AAA’ Flamed Maple carved top Colour: Natural Honey Neck: Honduras Mahogany Fingerboard: Ebony with ‘Ergocut’ precision shaping for professional Synth tracking German Schaller Tuners with Ebony Keys.Original Papers are also included. 3 Outputs: Humbucker, Acoustic/Mix (e.g. Humbucker/Acoustic Blend) or Synth. One 5-Way Switch + two selector switches (1) Three way blend, 2) S1/S2 momentary control). Serial Number: 98051382, September 1998, Monday, Godin Guitar number 382 during this production week. This guitar is in excellent condition, is extremely versatile and plays very well. Comes with original flight case and associated documents. Well cared for from smoke free home. I have now retired from professional guitar playing. Would suit professional guitar player or collector. Guitar has been kept in original condition which can be seen from the pre-2000 short-release LGX-SA Signature Series Headstock Marking Design and the AAA Flamed Honey Top which is now unavailable. Small pick marks on the humbucker covers in places, and a few small nail marks from replacing strings over the years (hardly visible, please see the photographs). That’s it. The guitar has just been serviced by Clive Noble (Noble Guitars Cardiff-hence the thumb prints on the tuners). This Guitar is equipped with equipped with three outputs. The ¼" phone output works with a regular guitar cord. The 13-pin connector provides hexophonic (a separate signal for each string) output that is compatible with a number of devices most notably the RolandTM GR-Series guitar synths. A third output is for the direct acoustic transducer sound which also has an independent control volume and equalisation system. So you can use the Humbucker or Acoustic Transducers alone or in Tandem. The Acoustic Transducers sound like a semi-acoustic guitar although their Eq can be modified significantly.
