Above date has been verified by the factory. This guitar was built for an Ernie Ball endorsed artist by the luthiers at the San Luis Obispo, California factory. Making this already 16 years old, and it is in Excellent Condition. Being a Custom Order from an Artist who was endorsed by Ernie Ball. There are some distinct and unique features, that are not normally found on these models. The Highest "Artist Grade" Birdseye Maple was used for the neck. It is so smooth and you just seem to float up and down the neck as you are playing. The Trans blue quilted top is Gorgeous and shines and sparkles like Crazy. All the extra features like the neck type, style of hardware, vol knob style, and coil split were requested and designed by the endorsed artist and Ernie Ball Luthiers. With the volume knob controlling a coil tap push/pull on the bridge pickup. Resulting in a bright and clear biting tone and great control over a lot of different sounds. Easy to dial back on the vol control during Dramatic Swells and Dynamic Leads. Sustain just oozing out of it!! Great Condition for 16 years old. The frets are in super shape and the intonation is spot on. The only dings worth a second mention are the one pictured on the headstock, a couple tiny nicks on the neck (cannot feel when playing), and a small circular crack or blemish on the back of the cutaway top. When you hold up the guitar in the light and turn it you can see some pic marks and there is a small scratch in the neck pocket. It is like a scratch that has not turned into a crack of any kind. None of these blemishes really caused structural damage and could be touched up and repaired rather easily. The Sound and Feel of this guitar is in no way impacted by the dings or dents. If you nitpick and are looking for a mint condition guitar this is not that. This is a player's guitar, with it being 16 years old already it is in really great shape in my opinion and the few flaws that are there are easily fixed if you want.
