There were binding repairs on the neck and top but none of the binding material (abalone shell etc) was lost and all was restored to the original condition. - There was minimal finish chipping where the binding originally broke away from the body. - There is a 1/32 inch gap in the binding on the back under the neck heel where the binding shrunk a bit before being repaired. There is a small area of surface finish cracks on the back due to temperature variations. They do not extend through the wood. There are some shallow surface scratches on the back. The ding on the top, the small gap in the binding, and some chipped finish on the neck binding is visible in the attached photos if you look closely. The finish cracks and shallow scratches are too subtle and small to see even with the naked eye.
