What makes this bass special: A superb player with incredible tone & feel. This gorgeous '73 P-Bass features a solid ash body in natural finish with a nicely rounded maple neck that plays great up & down the fretboard. Neck & pickups both date to '73. Professionally set up by our own luthier & ready for action straight out of the case!Cosmetic Condition: Typical light play wear for its age with wonderful charm & character - various nicks, chips, dents & dings; surface scratches, weather checking & some finish wear. One of the holes in the body for the pickguard has opened up to the point where the screw doesn't really stay put any more which is why it's missing. Overall the bass has a great look to it with a cool vintage vibe & beautiful patina.Neck: Rounded maple neck with "skunk stripe" & black dot inlays. Frets show wear, but have plenty of life in them. Fender open-back tuners are in perfect working condition. 1 5/8" nut width; 34" scale length. Neck dates to '73 & plays great!Body: Solid ash body in natural finish. Top-loading bridge with original cover. 3-ply white pickguard with finger-rest. Bass weighs 10 lbs 2.6 oz.Pickups: Original grey bottom pickups date to '73 with chrome cover. Master volume & tone controls with unoriginal brass knurled knobs. Pots are unoriginal, but all electronics are in perfect working condition.Case: Later-period Fender plastic injection mould hardshell case included. One latch is missing, but the case is in otherwise good condition.
