Let me start by saying I don't know a lot about these drums, I just love rare instruments and I travel all over the world. I saw a video of one of these for the first time about 2 years ago and have wanted one since. Lucky for me I travel to bali every year for business. This year I had my balinese friend Ketut take me to one of the few people in the world that make them in the cultural town of Ubud (look it up) and I bought two. My idea was to keep one and to sell the other because I know they are incredibly hard to come by, especially an authentic one like this. I make no promises on if it is perfectly tuned or anything as I don't know enough about them. I can tell you that it rings a D on my tuner when I tap the top. The other thing I can tell you is it sounds AMAZING!!! If you have not ever heard or tried one youtube it. It is a stunning beautiful meditative sound. It is also very easy to play as an amateur and have lots of fun with. I will assume if your looking at this ad that you know more about them than me. The drum comes with a donut pillow to set it on and a soft case that has handles and backpack straps to make it easy to transport. It is new and in very very good condition but may have minor scratches from transport. This drum is in my home in North Carolina and will be shipped the same day I receive payment, so you wont have to wait weeks like when you buy from an overseas seller.
