Vintage Gibson Gibsonette Tremolo GA-8T Amp 1X10 Guitar Combo AmplifierAnother vintage amp by Gibson produced sometime in the late '50s to early '60s. This amp is naturally brighter sounding and becomes beautifully overdriven when pinning the volume. This was also one of Gibson's early models to feature tremolo that you can control turning on and off with a foot switch. The GA-8 is also extremely light in weight, less than 23 lbs! Other control knobs are tone, volume, and depth and tremolo speed. There is something magical about early '60s amplifiers sound and design. With not many options for EQ and no reverb, a feature that now comes stock on almost any modern amp, your sound depended on who you were as a player. Are you the type of player who can tame this beauty?This is an old school Gibson Gibsonette Tremolo is good cosmetic shape for its age. The baffle is missing its logo and not all capacitors and tubes are original and the back panel has been replaced. The original handle is no longer on the amp and has been replaced by two side handles. This amplifier was also professionally retolexed sometime in the the late '70s. The original Jensen JCJII is still homed inside of this amp.
