The original owner made some modifications to the switching configuration as follows:1. Installed a three-way lever switch to replace the stock five-way switch.2. Added toggle switches to put the humbuckers either in north coil split, full humbucker or south coil split. Each pickup has its own switch.3. Added another bass cut 3 way switch.This lets you have a huge and diverse sound palate, especially in the pickup selector middle position. Honestly, I've never played an instrument with more tonal options.For example:- The bass cut used in tandem with the coil split provides for a convincing acoustic guitar sound.- Or you can have full humbucker on the bridge and add the single coil on the neck. (couldn't do this with the original switching).Original owner also added a carbon fiber pickguard that makes the whole instrument look sleek.
