REDUCED FOR QUICK SALE! Someone is going to snatch this up quickly so don't delay!This is my 1993 Olson SJ cutaway. It is the one that everybody wants - it has the birds inlays on the ebony fretboard, a Florentine cutaway, LR Baggs LB-6 pickup in the Ebony bridge, Cedar top, Indian Rosewood back and sides, 5 piece neck, abalone inlay around the top and sound hole, gold Schaller tuners with Ebony buttons - the works! It also comes with the original TKL case. (The width of the neck at the nut is 1 3/4").While this is certainly a collectors item that will continue to increase in value over time, it is definitely a players guitar, with plenty of battle scars to show for it. A couple from the case top closing on it, some from pick scratches around the sound hole, and one rubbed out spot on the side where it sits on your knee while playing. There is also a place at the sound hole where the finish is completely worn off all the way down to bare wood. I tried to capture most of the scratches and dings in the photos but if this type of thing bothers you then you should not bid on this guitar.While it has had a lot of playing time, it's playability is still superb. I had the frets dressed by Hoffman Guitars (recommended to me by James Olson) not long ago. I just put a new set of Elixir strings on it today.
