This is really cool. You are looking at a Vintage 1960's Guyatone LG-40 Solid Body Offset Electric Guitar. Very Rare. This is the single pickup model loosely based on the Harmony H44 Stratotone. This is the Set Neck Thru body model. The sides of the body clip on to the neck kind of like "ears" This is NOT your typical Japanese Vintage Guitar. This is a more professional model guitar. Plays and Sounds Great! Perfect for Surf, Rock, Blues. Has a great tone with the single coil pickup. It is a very large single coil pickup kind of like a cross between the P90 and a Strat pickup. Cosmetics: Good Condition. Keep in mind that this is a 55+ year old vintage guitar. Really for it's age it is in very good shape. There are some light strumming scratches on the pickguard as well as some light scratches on the front of the body. The back has some typical belt buckle rash scratches as well as some chips on the edges of the bout. (See pictures #9, #10). The hardware is pitted and has some scratches and slight fading as well. Most notably on the pickup. Neck, Fretboard, Headstock and Tuners in great shape. Overall Very good Condition. Dripping with "Mojo" It is used. Not perfect. Look at the pictures closely. They will tell the story.
