This is a Blue Collar Tele/Esquire guitar, Custom Shop series, serial #C0002, hand-built in the USA by renowned luthier Bob Davenport, dated Dec 30, 2009.  This guitar weighs just 6 pounds, 6 ounces, and is very resonant.  Its original flat black finish is in exceptionally fine condition, with only a few minor dings or scuff marks from very minor playing wear.   This model is known as ‘Dice’ and features a Joe Barden Tele bridge assembly and pickup system utilizing level pole bars and brass bridge saddles, as in early 1950’s Fender Telecasters.  Other features include Kluson style tuners, rosewood fingerboard, black pickguard, 1950’s Fender style full V-neck construction, engraved dice on chrome neckplate, as seen in the close-up, and cool looking actual dice for the knobs.  The back of the neck is left unfinished for that fabulous fast action 'woody' feel.    The neck is straight, the string action is low, and the frets show no wear.    This is a fantastic sounding and playing hand-built Tele style Esquire.  It comes with a certificate of authenticity signed by Jeffrey Hurst and Bob Davenport.  The guitar also comes in an Ess & Ess hard-shell case made in Brooklyn, NY.     Choose 'Buy It Now' and we pay all shipping in the continental U.S., and half the mailing costs overseas.  Shipping to Australia is expensive to fit a guitar with proper packing inside a full size guitar box, because it then has to be shipped Fed-Ex.  But if an Aussie is willing to accept this guitar with the neck unbolted and shipped inside a folded gig bag, and thereby packed inside a shorter packing box so as to meet priority mail dimensional requirements, the shipping is then just $139 to Australia.  We,of course, must then keep the hard-shell case.
