This classic mixer is compact, portable and versatile, and has a clear and transparent sound and features up to 24bit 96kHz sound processing, Room Acoustic Control and Finalize FX, plus High-Resolution EQ that can be edited on-screen. There are not many digital mixers that have analogue style controls, so this makes it unique. With its USB port, all you have to do is plug it into your PC/Mac and record up to 16 individual channels of audio, plus stereo main mix, using the DAW/software of your choice, with up to 24bit 96kHz sound processing. You can use it as a control surface for various popular DAWs such as Cubase, Logic Pro, Cakewalk Sonar, GarageBand, Ableton Live, and Digital Performer to name a few. Rolands website has some great 'Workshop' guides to help you setup the M-16DX with your DAW, plus other useful guides. Alternatively, you can connect it to your audio interface/sound card/instruments via its Coaxial and Optical digital connections.

The top panel of the mix controller before the level controls had tape attached to write instrument names on, so there is some glue left on from the tape being removed, this should be easy to remove, and there are a few light scratches to the left side panel of the mix controller, these of course in no way affect the units functionality. You'll be hard pressed to find another in this condition, and it is an excellent example of a well kept unit.
