Have a look at this rare vintage HOFNER 470 electric archtop jazz guitar made in Germany in the year 1974:Fullsize 17" archtop body with venetian cutaway.
 
Spruce top, bookmatched flamed maple back & sides.
Overall length: 42" (106.5cm),  Scale: 25.2" (64cm).Neck-width:  42mm at the nut / 52mm at the 12th fret.Body:  17" (43.5cm) wide,  20.5" (52cm) long,  3.15" (8cm) deep
 
 
One-piece maple neck. Ebony fretboard, 19 jumbo frets. Adjustable ebony bridge with fretwire saddle. 
Double diamond headstock, lyre style brass tailpiece. All metal parts are 24CT gold plated. Note the beautiful inlaywork at the backside.
2 blade pickups, toggle switch, 2x volume, 2x tone controls.Excellent condition considering the age although some small scratches in the finish are present of course. The guitar has been stored and shows almost no traces of use.
 
A true masterpiece instrument with excellent balanced voice and good separation of single notes.
Straight neck, very low action (1.5 mm at the 12th fret), easy player.The guitar comes well protected in a hard shell case shown on the photos.-> See photos for details !
