Here's my 2007 CIJ Fender Jazzmaster - the '62 reissue.
Well it started out that way. I went a bit mad with the mods!
Only the original body, neck and tuners remain! It has:
USA AVRI '62 reissue electronics, pots etc. Rothstein full copper scratchplate shield Genuine Celluloid Tortoiseshell scratchplate - not a printed copy (see pics) - really vibrant colour USA AVRI '62 pickups Staytrem bridge Staytrem tremelo upgrade US AVRI tremelo unit instead of original Japanese one. I have lined all the cavities with copper foil and soldered them together so it's pretty well shielded (as good as my US '65 reissue jag - which I prefer, hence the sale)
The body work is fine - it's been gigged so there's a few dings here and there, there's a bit of fret wear - it's developing a bit of mojo!
It's been set up by the divine Ritchie Tomson of Tomson Guitars in Wigan.
Currently strung with Ernie Ball 11s - the tremelo works perfectly with these.
It behaves, looks and sounds absolutely fabulous. It will come in the original Fender padded gig bag.
