Ernie Ball made a mere 200 of these Hard Tail examples in Red, as well as 200 in purple and 200 in amber. 600 total and that's that - very rare!
For ANY EVH collector this is a must have, blue chip guitar. This example is in very clean condition, has some insane quilted maple and a stunning birdseye neck.We absolutely LOVE these guitars and every time we get one in the shop we're transported back to 1991 - the release of "For Unlawful Carnal Knowledge" and the "Poundcake" video playing on repeat on MTV. Everyone who was anyone was playing one of these models and Eddie was known for gifting them to fellow musicians such as Jerry Cantrell from Alice in Chains... This example has a stunning UNFADED RED quilted maple top.These are absolutely amazing instruments. Hands down better than the later Peavey Wolfgang counterparts.... Ernie Ball made these in small batches and there was impeccable attention to detail with these guitars.Great player with only the most minimal signs of use,
just some minor play-wear on the back as pictured
