This auction is for an original Swedish production Hagstrom Viking from 1975. Only 200 have been produced in this late run. Please remember unlike some famous US Guitar makers Hagstrom guitar have been perfected by the manufacturer the newer they are. Unfortunately they stopped production in 1982.Very nice condition and outside of a minor repair of the the wood around the output Jack, the guitar is original and mostly unmodified.The repair around the Jack is very stable and does not change the sound or the quality of the guitar at all. This is the second most beautiful guitar I've ever owned. There are very minimal age lines that occurs on these older hollow bodies. I tried my best to show what I mean in the photos. Not very visible but I must disclose. The only real blemish is the repair around the output jack as mentioned above. One broken Pickup Pickup-ring has been replaced with original looking Pickup-ring. Pick-guard missing and Volume and Tone knobs are not original.Please don't make the mistake to compare the original Swedish guitars with the Chinese reissues. I have also some Chinese Hagstroms, so I know what I am talking about.I ship US only unless I've sold to you in the past. Then we can have a discussion.
