The photos are of the actual bass. Please excuse my poor photography skills. ESP's E-II series instruments are immaculately built, professional-grade instruments ready for the stage, studio and road. This bass walks the line between classic styling and modern playability. A nice cut of ash loaded with highly potent pickups, the body has a smooth, stripped down feel that you will want with you on stage or in the studio. The sound is punchy, loud and thick, but it's easy to mold the tone to your exact liking. The EQ options are intuitive and easy to change on the fly, perfect for the player who covers lots of musical ground in one month or one night. Your left hand is very cozy on this neck. It's slightly faster than what you'll find on similar designs, but there is still plenty of maple to dig into when you need it. Stellar build construction and attention to detail make this bass feel like it'll hold up for decades of nightly abuse. Perfect for the gigging or recording musician who needs a quality workhorse instrument. Features include a white ash body with a tobacco sunburst finish. The maple neck has a thin U shape, a 305mm radius, a bone nut, and it sports a rosewood board with 21 jumbo frets and dot inlays. Electronically, this bass is ahead of the pack. It has two active Seymour Duncan SMB-4D humbuckers wired to a 3-band EQ. There's also a mini toggle treble boost, perfect for when you're slapping and really need to bring out the high-end. Quality hardware will make your gigging life much easier: You won't have any trouble with the Gotoh bridge and tuners. Other features include chrome hardware, 34" scale length and 46mm nut width. There is no battery installed. It will ship with a new battery in the case storage. It is as new with original factory strings and set up. This tobacco sunburst finish is no longer available.
