This auction is for the first 1997 very briefly issued Hendrix Tribute model (not Voodoo model and only one currently available on EBay). It is entirely made in the USA and is all original. I consider this guitar to be the best sounding guitar by any manufacturer I have ever played (I have played them all too). A good deal of this great sound has to do with the out of phase pickups (notes seem to bounce off the wall everywhere) and having the weight of the the body primarily at the top (upside down) as well as the larger headstock. This guitar is an exact mirror image of what Hendrix played at Woodstock, rare maple cap neck, alder body, jumbo frets, nitrocellulose lacquer, etc. - all the best Fender supplier components as well. The guitar is in fantastic condition with minimal wear. Pics are clear for you to inspect. It is missing the purple Hendrix circle sticker and is missing the cord and strap. Perhaps there was something also such as a certificate or book or such. The shorter string length of the higher strings lightens the string tension for easier string bending. This guitar plays perfect without any problems and just like new. Black Fender case is included. This is available to USA bidders only. Any questions, please ask - I love to talk about this guitar.
