Designed with the student player in mind, the 482BAR is a superb instrument with features not often found in horns at the student level. The 482BAR is equipped with the three Monel-plated valves, often found on professional level brass instruments, to ensure that proper slotting and intonation is obtained while creating a valve block that is consistent and reliable. The 12-inch yellow brass bell and gold brass leadpipe help provide a warm, vibrant tone. The . 567-inch bore allows players of any skill to produce a full, wonderful tone with ease. Water keys on both the main and first valve tuning slide allow the instrument to be kept clean and performing at its best, and a convenient lyre attachment makes marching duties easy.
