A lovely bright and very in tune practice set of Uilleann pipes in Concert pitch DChanter is made by the ace reed maker and pipe maker Alan Burton from Cornwall. It's a keyless Chanter made from Lemonwood ( Castello Boxwood ) with Blackwood mounts. There is a knot on the wood at the rear of the Chanter .. this is simply cosmetic and doesn't affect the playing of the lovely Chanter in the least . In fact I quite like the look! The Bellows are made by Kellerher.. they are the basic ash model with screw in detachable air hose.The bellows have a nice long belt so would be fine for the larger gentlemen ( or lady ) The Bag is by Jacki Boyce and is 100% airtight . Has fittings for both Chanter and blow pipe. Aluminium Case included in sale.
