Among the many Japan vintage brands, it is particularly popular and has a lot of core fans. This time, Yamaki's all-veneer body, YW-80 arrived!
Ezo pine veneer TOP, rosewood veneer board SIDE & BACK, mahogany NECK, rosewood fretboard & bridge, glover USA peg, avalon & mother of pearl position mark, 41 style · avalon · trim & rosetta, measured 44 mm nut, 640 mm scale dread Note · body. Also the shellfied in the finger board and body are genuine, the position mark is also an original design, it is quite luxurious spec all-veneer model!
The sound is bright and brilliant sound with a balanced edge. Row is also out well, balance is not bad, but as the impression of the overall sound is like the glowing sound that the chirilline of the treble ringing with the treble is squeezed out, as a impression of the overall sound, a fancy sound with a glitter that opened considerably openly is. If you scratch with a flat pick, you can get a pretty aggressive sound with a standing edge, and even if you pluck with a finger, the sparkle of the treble part stands out and you can hear a beautiful sound!
Condition of instruments, there is feeling of use and scratches, repair history, etc. of the year. There is a crack repair of about 6 cm from the end part of the 6 th string side of the body top and 10 cm and crack repair of about 7 cm beside the 6 th string side sound hole. Adhesive is poured in each, and the surface is also touched up. Reinforced cleats are not struck from the back, but there seems to be no worry about strength at present. Others are like musical instruments that have been used for nearly 40 years, such as bruising scratches, but I think that there are no unnatural scratches or the like that would make you worry about collection as an old Japanese instrument. The white turbidity of the paint of Japan vintage itself can be confirmed faintly in SIDE & BACK. In almost all cases, Yamaki seems to be cloudy in SIDE & BACK, but this individual feeling is wholly cloudy and it seems that it is not at such a level that you are concerned so much . Will slight white turbidity stand out in both shoulder parts of the body side? It is about feeling.
The neck condition is good and roughly straight, the current string height is on the 12 frets on the 6th string side 2.1mm, the 1st string side is about 1.8mm and it is set very easy to play. Saddle still has room. Although frets are somewhat reduced centering on low frets, the height of about 60% of the original remains in the area where it is the most reduced.
Because of top crack repair, it is offering cheap!
The case comes with a general-purpose hard case. ●Condition neck is good
