Langevin EQ 252-A, Rack Mount Graphic Equalizer  Today we go back in history with this Vintage Passive Equalizer, Designed by the late Arthur C. Davis,  this is one of the great vintage passive equalizers.          Mike Mclean, later copied the exact circuit of this unit, and added an input transformer, gain control, in/out switch, line amplifier, and output transformer to create the very robust legendary Motown Graphic Equalizer. The original Langevin type EQ 252-A equalizer is essentially the identical device as the Altec type 9062-A equalizer.   These Langevin graphic equalizers are a rare find! 7 positions for ultimate control of spectral quality in recording TV broadcasts and motion pictures Gold-plated, noise-free, switching through +/- 8dB in 1 dB steps during active use Red sliding knobs allow 8 dB of equalization and attenuation in 1 dB steps at 50, 130, 320, 800, 2000, 5000 & 12500Hz Known for their "Hum-free" performance through sealed toroid coils from -70 to +24 dbm No tubes or power required - all passive bridge T circuits in one integrated unit (XLR cables attached)
