1991 Gibson Les Paul Classic in excellent condition - Honey Burst YamanoSelling reluctantly as I'm finally growing up and need the money to fund a house purchase, the guitar is in excellent condition and has been upgraded to a high standard. The guitar was specially selected for the Japanese Yamano shop, which only took guitars with stunning one piece tops (see photos for certificate) and it also has a very dark, beautiful fingerboard. Comes with original Gibson tan/pink case. Small amount of checking on headstock, and one or two small marks (only significant mark is shown in the last photo). Guitar weight is 4.25 kg.Mods:• original 500T/496R pickups were replaced with aged nickel PG Blues by Bareknuckle (£245). These are PAF inspired humbuckers with an out of phase middle position (can be overridden by simply adjusting vol knob on either pickup, getting the classic mid position sound);• wiring harness (CTS 500k pots, 0.022 paper in oil capacitors) and was made by JonseyBlues, with push/pull 50's wiring (£80);• bridge/stop tailpiece was replaced with aged nickel Faber Tonelock Master Kit (£160). This adds excellent sustain to the guitar;• an aged toggle switch and truss rod cover were added (original cover with Classic on will be supplied with the guitar).Very sad to see this one go and please see my other auctions for more guitar related kit!Message me for a test.
