Category: Electric Guitars
Class:
Description Brand: Fender Dexterity: Right-Handed Body Type: Solid Body Color: Olympic White Model: Stratocaster Special Edition Body Material: Solid Wood String Configuration: 6 String Model Year: 1990
Up for sale is my custom Stratocaster with the perfect blend of vintage and newer parts. A solid 1990 Japanese Fender Body well aged with gorgeous finish, does have some dings and scratches but still looks great after all these years. 1990 japanese Fender pickups w/CTS pots.Fatocaster switch installed where the tone 1 pot was. Tone 2 pot acts as a master tone pot. Look them up if you do not know what they do. It still functions normally but gives many more tonal options. Barely used Warmoth compound radius neck nice and straight, action is very comfortable with a beautiful lacquer finish. Neck is standard fender 9.5 radius but is a little fatter around the neck then a stock heel size as it has two truss rods for more stability. Frets are crowned and polished. New fender tuners that are slightly aged to match the rest of the hardware. 2 1/16 spacing Callaham Bridge and tremolo, set up as floating bridge. Raw Vintage tremolo springs. Plays extremely well set up with 10 gauge strings. Truss rod, intonation and sting height has all been adjusted correctly. I hate to sell this guitar as I've had it many years and spent a lot of time with it but it is time to thin the heard a bit. Guitar weighs in at roughly 7 pounds 10 ounces. I will pack extremely well. Ships in a thick padded acoustic gig bag. The headstock does have a very tiny hole on the front near the string guide from drilling thru when installing the tuners. Can hardly notice but thought I should mention. Feel free to ask any questions. Thanks for looking!
Best regards
