RARE 1971 Kamaka Ukulele TIKI Concert White Label Koa Wood w/ Case NICE!
Rare Kamaka Ukulele, date stamp of Apr 5, 1971 - see last photo.
Excellent condition showing only the mildest wear from use - scroll down to see 28 detailed photos from every angle.
On the back about 4" in length of the center joint is raised and separated a bit.
My suspicion is that being made in a humid climate, then living in a dry climate (Colorado) is the cause.
May cure itself after a few months in a wetter environment, is my guess.
Regardless, no effect on tone - this uke sounds excellent like you would expect.
Includes the original case as you see - just tune it and play.
A little over 23-1/2" long overall, 9-5/8" long neck with 16 frets and 3 dots.
I've safely shipped many string instruments - for shipping I construct a custom
crush-proof interior enclosure of thick styrofoam for super-safe shipping.
Plus cushioning around ukulele inside the case.
Shipped insured for full value and signature required.
