Early 1960's J-45 Vintage Cherry Sunburst Finish, which was produced only worldwide as 75 as a monthly limited model in 2016 arrived early as second-hand!
Spruce TOP, Mahogany SIDE & BACK, Mahogany NECK, Rosewood Fingerboard & Bridge, Task made Adjustable Saddle, Actual Measurement 43.1 mm Nut, 24.75 Inch Scale 16 inch Round Shoulder. In Gibson 's press announcement, it is supposed to be 42.7 mm as neck width in the early 1960' s, but it is about 43 mm actually measured. Since Gibson in the early 1960s is also a neck with 43 mm width in most, I think that it can be said that J-45 in the early 1960s is reproduced in a more realistic manner than in a certain sense. But I felt the feeling neck felt thicker than the early 1960's. Is it half way between the late 50's and early 60's? It is a neck that gets a very gripy feel, it adapts soundly to the hand!
Sound is familiar Gibson sound! Scallop · bracing gives you a sense of boxing sound, a sense of sustain is enough, and it is a sound that you can use for almighty. If you flutter with a flat pick, you can enjoy a crispy Gibson sound with an effective Adjustable Bridge-like compression, even if you pluck it with a finger, you get moderate sustain and you can use it enough.
Condition of instruments is a beautiful condition with few scratches, but there are some remodeling parts. First of all, the pickguard is slightly thicker, replacement things like Gibson in the 60's are being replaced. It is exchanged for what is used in the 1960's from the current red-tortoiseshell pattern, and the look is a tight feeling. It is still different from the real 60's atmosphere (laugh), but this area is a matter of preference. In addition, the Lyric pickup made by LR Baggs, which seems to have been attached at the time of brand new, was removed, and the end pin was attached with oversized replacement items. Have you pursued a more natural part of this neighborhood? Did you just put PU on another guitar? Currently it is pure raw acorn. When scratching over the light and looking at it carefully, there are a few scratches and dents such as scratches, but there are no big scratches or damage that is conspicuous in the distant eyes, and it keeps the same conditions as a new one.
Neck condition is also good and beautiful straight, the current string height is set up on the 6th string side on the 6th string side 2.5mm, 1st string side about 2.0mm, but the adjustable · saddle is still movable both up and down So you can set it to your favorite string height. Fret has a place with slightly string marks on the low fret, but almost the height of approximately 90% remains.
A model that superbly reproduced cherry sunburst that does not fade in the early 1960s! Will it become calming coloring in the future like vintage? It is a pleasure one.
Unfortunately the case is not original, but a general-purpose hard case comes with it.
