This is a nearly new Phaeton flugel horn in the rare matte silver finish. Good intonation with excellent valve action and third valve slide trigger. Very smooth, especially in technical passages. It has a rose brass bell and a .434 in. bore and takes Bach taper mouthieces.I'm a French horn player and I'm not going to use this as much as I thought I was. I played it with my college pep band a handful of times when I was short a few trumpet players, but that's the only use it has seen. It has a few minor scratches, but is in otherwise perfect condition. It comes with the stock 3C mouthpiece and the original case with backpack straps.
