*Super Rare* 2012 Ernie Ball Music Man JP12 BFR John Petrucci Premier Dealer Network Limited Edition 7 STRING in Emerald SparkleFor sale is an amazing 7-string Music Man JP12 in the limited edition Emerald Green Sparkle finish. For a short period in 2011, Music Man took orders from their Premier Dealer Network for guitars in a custom green sparkle finish. Numbers were never released as to how many were made, but very few from what I'm told; never to be available again. The finish has an amazing depth that really just explodes in light. The finish was described by Music Man as being uniquely sized metallic sparkles, which really enhances the effect. They said the effect is rather 3-D in appearance and displays from nearly all angles. The shade of green is perfectly in the middle, emerald sufficing as a great description.
The neck on these guitars is just phenomenal, in my opinion. The size and shape is slightly thicker and rounder than an Ibanez, which to me always has shoulders. I feel this to be a great alternative to the Wizard as it is a shape that would have evolved from what Petrucci played when with Ibanez. Original pickups were replaced with Seymour Duncans, a Nazgul in the bridge and Sentient in the neck position. (The stock pick-ups are included.)
