Up for sale is an upgraded ADL 1000 Tube Compressor/Limiter (serial #0976). This unit has been professionally retrofitted with original UTC A-10 and UTC A-24 input/output transformers found on vintage LA-2A's. Additionally, it has been modified to switch between "COMP" & "LIM" modes via a front panel selector switch, and has vintage tubes from Sylvania, Telefunken, and RCA installed. The power supply has been recapped, and it has the Whitestone Soundworks modification to flatten gain reduction frequency response.This unit works perfectly, and sounds amazing! The upgrades took it into an entirely different league! That being said, it is used, and has scratches and other minor cosmetic defects from being racked. The only feature I can't test is the stereo link due to not having a second unit.An IEC cable and the original input/output transformers are included with the unit.FREE Domestic UPS Ground Shipping (insured w/ Signature Required)!
