The Country Club was introduced in 1954 as a replacement for the Electro II hollow body. The name Country Club was associated with a wide variety of model numbers, and the entire line was renumbered in 1971 when the Gretsch factory moved from New York to Arkansas. The body depth varied on this model over time, from 3.375 in. to 1.875 in. to 2.875 in. This is a clean 1978 Gretsch Model 7576 Country Club in Natural maple finish, "Made in USA", all original with a multibound ebony fretboard with MOP-inlays and see-thru pickguard (one corner broken off). Note that this guitar has a zero fret. A great sounding guitar with a thin neck-profile which is very comfortable to play. Will be shipped to you in its original hard shell case. This Gretsch Country Club 7576 Hollow Body Electric Guitar is a used item in VG+ condition. There are no major dings, marks or issues with this guitar with the exception of a few surface scratches, general wearing of the gold plating throughout the guitar . See above for detail. You can see some normal wear and light surface scratching in a few areas, but hardly visible. All electronics work as they should. You will receive this item well-packed in its original Fender case with whammy bar but without the original packaging and paperwork. Please contact this seller for additional information.
