Up for sale is a one of a kind guitar--Literally. This is a USA made Reverend Commando that is made of clear plexiglass. I bought this around 2005 directly from the Reverend website. It was reportedly custom made for/by one of the Reverend employees back when there were just a handful of luthiers working in the factory in Eastpointe, Michigan. This is literally the only Reverend guitar of it's type. It has the pickup configuration of the USA made Commando guitars. It has the "Eastpointe" neck. I have 5 Reverend Guitars in my collection. They are all works of art. The other ones (Rocco, Slingshot, HotShot, Volcano) I play. This one just hangs as a thing of beauty. I have only played it a few times and still has the original strings that it came with from the factory. Definitely a piece of guitar history/rarity. There are visible fingerprints on the inside of the plexiglass from the glue, etc. Aside from the obvious unusual/rare nature of the guitar, it plays perfectly without any issues at all. I am selling off some of my collection to raise funds for other projects.Comes with an original Reverend rectangular case. Will ship to CONUS in a well padded/packaged box. Please feel free to ask questions before bidding. Thanks for looking!Addendum: I was notified by someone following the auction that there were actually 2 of the Reverend Plexi guitars made. One was a "Slingshot" configuration and the other one is the one I have for sale. The other one was modified to be a Bong/Guitar know as the "ChroniCaster". Search YouTube for "ChroniCaster" to see it in action. Also check out the "Gallery" page on the RevFan website to see confirmation of how rare this guitar is. Ebay won't let me post these links here directly.
