This rare drum set is a beauty! It is in great playing condition. The medium brass badge found on the bass drum indicates this kit was born around 1952. The rail console has been moved slightly and the holes have been filled. The new position of the rail console puts the rack tom in the perfect modern playable position. The chrome and shells are in fantastic condition, especially for the age! The metal bass drum hoops are the only piece that is not original. There is a slight yellowing of the wrap which gives this kit a very classy vintage look! The bass drum has a Remo renaissance powerstroke 3 batter head and a coated single ply resonant head. Both toms have aquarian texture coated batter heads and aquarian modern vintage thin resonant heads on the bottom. Both toms have functioning internal muffles. This kit also includes the original bass drum muffle w/ mounting hardware. This set is a joy to play!
