1995 Gibson Les Paul Studio - Alpine White (Now Aged Cream!) - w/Gibson Hardcase A fantastic Les Paul for sale here! One of the best I've played - there's something special and unique about these 90's made Gibson, today's production doesn't come close in quality or sound. The quality is 2nd to none - a very sturdy feeling instrument and it has the weight a real Les Paul should have. Another brilliant feature is of course the ebony fretboard, something you no longer find on the modern day Gibsons due to restrictions - the feel/playability is phenomenal! The sound of the ceramic pickups is a force to be reckoned with. I have a few Gibsons equipped with '57 Classics and I've grown to love the aggression of the ceramics more. Based on sound I would have this guitar over my current lineup but Les Pauls are just too heavy for me.. A real shame. This Les Paul has all the 'mojo' too - the alpine white has now started to discolour to a beautiful aged cream and there's some light lacquer grazing/cracks to the body, neck and headstock - a natural relic! The overall condition is excellent - there's a few nicks and some light surface scratches that I've tried to photograph. It is all original bar the neck tone pot, which has been replaced with a push/pull so the pickups can be switched to out of phase - the original pot is included.The guitar has been checked and set-up by a well respected technician here in Leeds and comes with a Gibson TKL hardcase - not original to the guitar but a modern version (2012/2013) which is pretty much new!
