The Fender American Standard Strat HSS Shawbucker is built in California, USA. The Ash body comes with a classy looking 3-Colour Sunburst finish. Bolted onto this is a maple neck. This features a more modern 9.5 inch fretboard radius. It offers a good balance between comfort and play-ability. You also get 22 frets. Where this Stratocaster differs from the regular model is the pickup configuration. It comes with a Humbucker in the bridge and two single coils. The Fender American Standard Strat HSS Shawbucker has another trick up its sleeve. A dual 250k/500k volume pot. This helps to bring out the best sound in each pickup. When in full humbucker mode it utilises 500k. 250k in the single coil positions. It means this guitar is equally happy with high output, high gain and super, crystal clean sounds.
