1982 Fender Telecaster ’52 Vintage Series Reissue First Year Production You have here a one owner, FIRST YEAR PRODUCTION, Vintage Series 1952 Re-issue Fender Telecaster. I purchased this item new in San Antonio, Texas from River City Music (now defunct) in early 1983. It is a first year manufacture, 4 digit serial number guitar with all case candy, certificate of authenticity, all contents of the case are still with the guitar, tweed case, and I will include the original bill of sale from River City Music and the 1982 Fender catalog which inspired me to buy it. I have absolutely no talent as a guitarist. My dad plays as well as my son. Talent skipped a generation. This guitar has low miles, has never been gigged, never played outside my home. Around 1996, I placed the guitar in its case and I have not played it since. It has been cased for the last 21 of its’ 35 years. Photos should tell the condition of the guitar, and I will answer any questions you may have. No, I will not disassemble to show any neck or neck pocket inscriptions. You can do that once you buy the item. This item is up for auction on Ebay once. If it does not sell, you will not see this up for auction for one year. Why the price? This is a first year item. Like the first edition of a classic book, the first printing, a one of a kind. A one owner item. Proof of purchase is provided. A low mileage, low wear item. From an era when Leo Fender while no longer in charge of Fender Musical Instruments, was still alive. You can buy this model of guitar now, made in any year since 1982, but it will not be a first year model made in the U.S.A. at the legendary Fullerton plant. First year models will only increase in value. Please bid accordingly, payment will be by cashier’s check or U.S.P.S. money order only, no PayPal. I will have packaged with the utmost of care, insured for the sales price, and shipping is free to the continental Unites States. Foreign shipments, Hawaii & Alaska, please ask for a quotation.
