The guitar started off and still is a Suhr Rasmus S-100. I didn't care for the original color. The paint was stripped down to the wood (alder) and refinished in a gold/copper color scheme along with a nitro cellulose clear coat. The finish is not smooth and perfect. It is more like a bar of gold bullion. The wood grain is apparent and the feel is vintage with loads of character and vibe. I think it is awesome and really unique. If you are looking for a perfect smooth look, please look elsewhere...
The head stock was also stripped and a "Suhr" logo applied along with a nitro cellulose top coat. The electronics were also upgraded. I purchased a 920D Custom Shop "Suhr" HSS Harness w/5 Way Super Switch along with a treble bleed circuit wired in parallel.
A Gotoh all steel block was added which really played a role with sustain/harmonics and overall feel. The acoustic resonance is outstanding.The stock Suhr ML neck and middle pickups remain. The SSH+ humbucker was replaced with a SSV Humbucker as the SSV was more of a seamless transition with the single coils.As with all Suhr guitars, this guitar plays like butter with fantastic sustain and tuning stability. The guitar is currently set up "Jeff Beck" style with the tremelo floating -- the G String able to be raised a minor third.This is my 5th Suhr guitar. They are fantastic instruments. The Rasmus line was designed to offer a more affordable Suhr build. I can say without a doubt that this guitar plays as well as any high end Suhr that I have owned/played to date. It is a absolute joy to play. A steal at my price point.Please only bid if your reside within the Continental USA. Bid with confidence based on my feedback. The stock Suhr gig bag will be included.
