Practically Brand New, been sitting for past year unused. We tested it when we first bought it with an intention to buy more 500 series gear ie eq and compressor etc but never found the money or the need to expand into expensive pro gear in the end. Now realize it's money just sitting there and really needs to find a new home where it'll get some good use.
Must admit though it does add warth to the sound that even our TLaudio valve compressor can't mimic and this being just a 'preamp' is quite something! The FAMED Soundskulptor MP573 (Neve 1073 inspired 500 series preamp)
About the MP573If you have any thoughts on buying a classic British preamp (I.e. a Neve or similar) then look no further than the Soundskulptor MP573, the stunning 500-Series preamp designed by Jean-Pierre Kuhn in France. You will simply be pushed to find a better sounding 500 series preamp at this price that will get you as close to the nuance and character that is associated with the "British" sound. This preamp is as close to a Neve as it gets (for half the price). Its larger than life sound (featuring the huge Carnhill transformer) will deliver you a massive 70DB of gain. Sounds incredible on vocals. Sounds incredible on everything basically! The MP573 can also be DIRECTLY LINKED (via an internal cable) with the concentric EQ573 which will in essence, give you the full channel strip.Features
