Listing is for this newly completed Telecaster from Virgil's Vintage Guitars.This top load Tele is a one off, that was designed for maximum twang.The specs:BODY•Two piece 3lb. 5oz. Eastern White Pine, that features natural mineral streaking and spalt. The center stripe isn't a separate ply of wood, but rather the result of butterflying a block of Pine, with live bark edge, which appears as a center stripe.•The top was painstakingly finished in multiple layers of French Polish button Shellac. The back and sides were stained and finished in tinted Nitrocellulose lacquer.NECK•One piece Roasted Maple with big boat profile.•21 tall frets (.079" x .051").•9.5" radius.•Nut width 1-5/8".•Neck thickness:.97" at first fret, 1.00" at twelfth fret•Truss rod adjustment at heel..•Hand cut bone nut.•Leveled, polished and crowned frets.•Hand rubbed gun stock finishELECTRONICS•Bridge pickup: Hand Wound Alnico V. Flush pole pieces. 6.97K ohm. •Neck pickup: Fender Twisted Tele. 5.67K ohm.•Oak Grigsby three way switch, CTS pots.•Mini toggle "blower" switch that sends the signal straight to jack, when activated, for maximum twang and kerrang.•.0047mf tone cap. Cuts less highs, which makes the entire span of the pot more functional.HARDWARE•Custom made aircraft grade aluminum bridge plate. Non magnetic = livelier tone.•Gotoh Intune brass compensated saddles.•Custom made heavy knurl dome knobs.•Hand tinted and lacquered brown pearl pickguard.Guitar weighs a super light 6lbs. 3oz.Ships in a new Fender Deluxe padded Gig bag.Impeccably set up to play flawlessly right out of the box.
