Hohner KingswayA very unusual and almost impossible to find solid bodied guitar made by Hohner in 1961/2.I have never seen another for sale and this one has been in a collection for close to thirty years.It is finished in white and in an excellent condition with a couple of scratches on the front and somelight lacquer checking only and contains the ''Kingsway'' logo.The single pickup is chromed and very similar to those of early Fenton Weill guitars - with volumeand tone controls mounted in a black scratchplate. The wooden bridge and simple metal tailpieceare original. The jackplug socket has been changed for a normal socket as the original was an old batteryconnector - there were some very strange connectors in England in the late fifties and very early sixties, veryhard to connect to nowadays hence the necessary change.It is in a superb condition and plays perfectly. It comes with a period hardcase.
