Quite a nice looking guitar this one. The instrument was made by renowned French Luthier Xavier Petit for beloved Greek guitarist Dionisis Kalafatis who is also a collector of the world’s finest electric guitars. It was made for Dionisis to the exact specs of the Mark Knopfler 1 which Mark asked Rudy Pensa and John Suhr to put together for him so he didn’t have to change guitars on stage every five minutes. It has every sound in the book through the EMG Humbucker, single coils and a Piezo pickup under the bridge. It also has a unique 17ml thick sculpted Flamed Maple top. Main thing of course is playability, it is fast and smooth on the ebony fretboard and ss frets. Has a Gold Floyd Rose trem and mother of pearl fret inlays. It’s a guitar that is very hard to put down once you start to play it. Comes in deluxe hard case. At $3500 is priced to sell without fuss.
